RV.Net Open Roads Forum: need a trailer that is low to the ...
Having a TT that sits close to the ground makes for a bad towing experience. Why? you may ask. Because they drag. Every time you start up an incline. The rear drags, turn into a gas station up a slight hill it drags. Mine set low, and drug nearly every trip. So much so, that I had the spring mounts moved to the top of the axles to keep it off ...

SOLVED: Rear end sitting really low to the ground what - Fixya
Check the tire inflation. Also, if you can jack the tire up off the ground, rotate the tire and feel across the top of the tread. If there seems to be any high/low spots or feeling of side-to-side tread movement, you may have a separated belt in the tire. This can cause the "loose" feeling you are getting.

How to Raise a Trailer for More Ground Clearance ...
Just traded my 24ft for a 27ft Trail sport r-vision. The new trailer rides nearly a foot lower than the other. Anything I can do about this? This low of clearance will make it nearly impossible to park anywhere other than near level ground. Perfect model trailer for expanding family, just too low. : asked by: Dave

How to Gain Ground Clearance for a Travel Trailer that ...
The tounge is as low as it can be mounted on the towing vehicle without hitting the ground when entering my driveway. Nevertheless, the front of the trailer rides several inches higher than the rear and the back end grounds out on the same driveway. Being able to raise the rear an inch or two will solve my problem.

Trailer seems to be too low/scrapes the decline as we ...
Hi, My name is Theresa. We bought our North Trail 28' RLS last March. Heartland installed our Equalizer Hitch/Sway Bars and told us that the hitch ball on our 2006 Dodge Durango and the trailer were aligned properly. We find that when we go down the decline coming out of gas stations there is so little clearance we scrape the hitch, the spare tire and the rear end of the trailer.

Measure your camper to ensure you reserve a site that fits its size. KOA RV Sites are made to accommodate a wide range of camper lengths, but it's still best to check the site's exact length to that of your RV. If you have a trailer-style camper, make sure to include the length of your tow vehicle when measuring.
